b3 and cod4x

This is what I found using b3 and the new server 17.7
NOTE I am using b3 version 1.9.2 I do not know if this works on other versions or not!
For some reason b3 will not see !b3 commands on the new server.
However I found that by loading plugin B3hide my system does see the b3 commands and responds to them.
When I disabled b3hide it would not see the commands. So I suggest you load the b3hide plugin
if your having a problem of b3 not responding to commands, its worth a try!
I also found that without the b3hide plugin loaded my phprcon program reports an error stating bad rcon password.
with b3hide loaded I do not get that error.
Hopefully this may help others.

I made a plugin for that but it uses b3-1.9.2
not sure it will work in other versions but you can try it
a config is also in the zip file but I figured I would show it here
- kab-b3.zip
- KAB plugin
- (5.13 KiB) Downloaded 913 times
I made this for my personal use and it works with b3 version 1.9.2 and Cod4x
I do not know if it will work with other versions of b3
to install
place KAB.py in your b3/plugins directory
place the KAB.xml in the b3/conf directry
you do not have to rename the KAB.xml for this plugin to work
but I suggest you edit the command levels I have them a 99 so only superadmins can use them
also at the bottom of the file is
<!-- Settings to add your ban appeal web site to the ban file -->
</settings>
<settings name ="website">
<set name = "website_text">www.yourwebsite.com</set>
</settings>
edit the web site text to your web site because it will show in the ban when someone is banned
it will say you can appeal your ban at
www.yourwebsite.com so change it

Another question.
we Must to put the KAB.py on folder (extplugins) and KAB.xml on folder (conf).
And
cmd plugin for cong = (<plugin name="KAB" config="@b3/conf/plugin_KAB.xml"/>)...Is that true?
And
don't We need to get cmd of gessall on the plugin _ customcommands for superadmin or senioradmin? … if that's what it cmds?

if your going to use @b3/config for the xml then the KAB.py has to go into the b3/plugins directory (that is how I have mine set up)
the KAB plugin uses cod4x internal admin commands so you do not need anything except internal admin power on the server (the internal admin I am speaking about is not b3 admin power)
hmm I never tried useing the b3 commands without having internal admin powers since I actually made that plugin for myself. (if I find time I will try it without server admin power)
btw I also use the b3hide plugin to hide me doing commands

just to let you know on the KAB plugin I said in a post and also the config file to remove a password !pw to use !pw none that is not correct its !pw remove
I will correct that in the download.
I also tried it without internal admin power and it seems to work that way also

hi bro .
so the way i understand it, it's ، This plugin will be replaced in B3 and does not require to cmd in the plugin_customcommands.
And Should added <plugin name="KAB" config="@b3/conf/plugin_KAB.xml"/> in cng.
Is that true?

How do you do this plugin and replace it in B3 and cmd getss all for the SuperAdmin in the game? Because I tried to say that the cmd was unknown
ok cmd was unknown most likely means you placed the KAB.py in the wrong place or maybe its not compatible with your version of b3
place the KAB.xml in b3/conf
place the KAB.py in b3/plugins
add this line to b3.xml
<plugin name="KAB" config="@b3/conf/KAB.xml"/>
mine looks like this I have b3 in d drive
d:\b3\conf \KAB.xml
d:\b3\plugins\KAB.py
post your b3.log here so I can see what is happening
or check it yourself and it should say whats wrong.

looking at the log there are alot of errors ( not only the KAB plugin)
I suggest you delete the log and allow it to make a new one then post that one
also post the b3.xml file (remove your rcon password from the file b4 posting it)
I have to see how KAB is being called in the file itself.
it would be great if you can post the complete b3 directories in a zip file so I can make a test server and use your b3 set up and find out whats happening
just remember to remove your rcon password from the b3.xml if you do that.
