why would I care about that? haha if the guy want to download all the maps then he can... then he does not have to wait when he comes on the server...

so yes I ran a COD4X server

on COD4X people with fake CD keys can join and when i host COD4 then only real ones can join.... so I hosted COD4X so friends could join... and used http://downloadfastcod4x.000webhostapp.com as a place where they can download the maps when they enter a game... set sv_allowdownload "1" set...

no I mean random people joined the server and my friends could join the server :D wwoowowoowo haha

I also thought of getting COD4X, but then I saw that it says COD4X at the bottom right corner... so thought I had it already? If I see it in the bottom right corner does it mean I have it?

but the config file does not seem to work for paintball... double check to see if the command line is correct "c:\cod4\iw3mp.exe" +set fs_game mods/modernpaintball +exec knife.cfg +map_rotate the above is an example of how it should look the knife.cfg file should be in the modernpaintball...

ok figured out that i did not use the correct cfg file.. so now it is reading the config file...

Here is the problem... he does not find the cfg file...

fs_game is write protected.
dedicated is read only.
Error: Waited 2303 msec for missing asset "knife.cfg".
Error: couldn't exec knife.cfg
